WHO ARE THE TALIBE?

The Talibé are children who live on the streets in conditions of extreme hardship, marginalization and poverty. They are forced to beg to survive, deprived of food, education and adequate care. Their childhood, which should be a time of play, learning and growth, is instead characterized by hunger and poverty.
TheThe Don Bosco 2000 Association is committed to supporting these children on a daily basis, offering them a nutritious breakfast that represents not only an important energy supply, but also a moment of care and welcome. For most of these children, this breakfast is the only safe meal of the day that will allow them to face it with more energy, strength and hope.

WHY IS A BREAKFAST SO IMPORTANT?

Breakfast is a complete moment for the little Talibés: they receive food, but above all humanity, attention and love. In a context of extreme poverty, where these children are often deprived of any form of affection and care, a breakfast can make the difference between a day of hardship and one in which they feel protected, cared for and valued.
