Introduction and legal context
The International Relations Office of the Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration of the Ministry of the Interior is responsible for the management and control of the funds allocated for the Cooperation Initiatives, through projects selected through Public Notices, for which specific Contracts/Conventions are stipulated. In this context, independent auditing is an essential tool to ensure regularity, legitimacy, cost-effectiveness and transparency in the management of public resources. In accordance with the RELINT 2024 Notice and Annex 4 – Vademecum for the External Auditor, the Don Bosco 2000 Association – Social Enterprise, as beneficiary of the funding, intends to launch a comparative procedure for
the identification of an Independent External Auditor to whom the professional assignment is assigned for the verification and certification of the expense incurred.
The Sole Responsible for the Procedure (RUP) is Dr. Roberta La Cara, Director of the beneficiary body. The RUP ensures the procedural regularity of this selection, the correct performance of the assignment and the supervision of the administrative, accounting and contractual implementation. Subject of the assignment
The assignment concerns the accounting and administrative verification activity, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2021/241, the RELINT 2024 Notice, Law 11 August 2014, no. 125 and applicable national and international legislation, aimed at issuing the Independent Verification Report, in accordance with the standard model (Annex 5 of the Vademecum).
