PUBLIC NOTICE OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF HOUSING STRUCTURES TO BE USED FOR THE RECEPTION OF BENEFICIARIES OF THE SAI PROJECT – ORDINARY CATEGORY – PIETRAPERZIA (EN). Code PROG-2054

Premise
In implementation of the Decree of the Ministry of the Interior prot. no. 25940 of 17/06/2025, with which the expansion of the accommodation capacity of the Reception and Integration System (SAI) was authorized for no. 2,786 places, of which no. 30 relating to the SAI project category Ordinary of the Municipality of Pietraperzia, managed by the Don Bosco 2000 Association – Social Enterprise, this Notice is published in order to identify private citizens interested in making housing units available to be used for the reception of beneficiaries according to the model of widespread reception.

Acknowledging
– that the Municipality of Pietraperzia – project holder – participated in the invitation by the Ministry of the Interior of 24/01/2025 which offered an expansion up to a maximum of 3,211 places based on the allocated resources related to the provisions of Article 20 of Decree-Law No. 202 of 27 December 2024, which provides for the extension of the support measures and assistance activities in place in favor of Ukrainian citizens holding a residence permit for temporary protection, as well as OCDPC no. 1123 of 29 December 2024 – Urgent civil protection provisions to regulate the progressive consolidation in ordinary forms of extraordinary and temporary assistance and reception measures currently in place as a result of the events taking place in the territory of Ukraine;
– that the Municipality of Pietraperzia has proposed the expansion of the accommodation capacity on its territory by n. 10 places
– that the Municipality of Pietraperzia has included in the application for participation a letter of adhesion from the Municipality of Barrafranca, entitled to participate as a neighboring municipality, in compliance with Ministerial Decree 18/11/2019, making available no. 20 places;

The Ministry reserves the right, also on the basis of the applications received, to establish maximum ceilings in proportion to the resident population, in derogation from art. 11, paragraph 2 of the guidelines attached to the Ministerial Decree of 18.11.2019, and, due ranking attached to the Communication of 24.01.2025 – expansion of the accommodation capacity of the SAI, art. 16 of the guidelines attached to the Ministerial Decree of 18.11.2019 – Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration, Central Directorate of Civil Services for Immigration and Asylum Notice pursuant to art. 9 paragraph 1 of the guidelines attached to the Ministerial Decree of 18.11.2019 – List of applications accepted and eligible for funding, the 15 places are distributed as follows:
– n. 10 positions in the Municipality of Pietraperzia
– 20 positions in the Municipality of Barrafranca
